Hi all,

There are many birds on the Mayfair 2 complex, mostly because the complex borders to a lush olive tree field.

Some people are complaining about bird droppings (on balconies) etc.
There is nothing we can do about that....birds poop...like all living things

Birds inside your property is another matter.
If Bulent or his construction partner has not put rosters on your outside vents and birds are nesting in them, we will provide rosters or caps of course.

But the builder is not responsible for:
- protecting your aircon engines from bird nests
- fencing your balconies for bird visits
- cleaning bird droppings in your property
- and more of these issues along the same lines

I feel a bit silly to even mention this but;
The maintenance fee is NOT used to kill/discourage birds to enter/fly over/make use of balconies on the complex.

Swallows are not hazardous.
We do use part of your fee to kill spiders, dangerous ants, flees, ticks, wasps & bees (nests), snakes....as all those are dangerous and can cause serious bodily harm.

It seems some prople will complain over anything!!!

Surely we all realise birds are free creatures, we have a nest behind one of our aircon units, it doesn't cause any harm, and I like to see the swifts/swallows swooping down over the pool.

We have seen  a tortoise out in the olive grove, and have had kids (goat type) almost in our apartment when the back gate was open (on the first floor), it is nice to see differnet animals, from the one's we get at home,    just the mossies I don't like !

I wouldn't mind having a swallow nest in my balcony.  When I was there, I thought the chirping of the birds and watching them swoop down to the pool was lovely.

I think its wonderful seeing the birds drinking out of the pool, I too wouldnt mind the birds nesting in my air con, and i would hope to keep seeing the birds around the complex, would like to go and explore around the outside of the complex but can never seem to prize myself from the sunbed!
